Billionaire Airbnb boss reveal plans for secret airline
Brian Chesky, the billionaire founder of Airbnb, has revealed his secret plan to venture into aviation creating his own airline.
The house sharing website currently offers holiday makers the home away from home service worldwide, making it easier than ever to travel abroad.
In a report by the home sharing provider last summer, there are already over four million listings across more than 190 countries.
Currently Airbnb members can browse the holiday homes of their choosing as easily as flicking through an Argos catalogue.
However, in an announced made last week, Airbnb has expanded into luxury travel.
No longer will the provider just be offering holiday homes, but luxury hotels, villas and a loyalty programme for guests are available for those looking for more than the opportunity to snoop around somebody else’s home.
It should come as no surprise then, that Chesky is looking for further opportunities to broaden his company.
At this rate the billionaire will be the front runner for package holidays.
